The Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja is located in northern Spain, on both sides of the Ebro River.

The new Rioja wines are full of tannins, elegant and powerful, keeping the character that has made them famous the world over.

· The Tempranillo varietal is harvested in the last week of September and Garnacha, in the second week of October.

· Over 35-year-old vineyards
· Fermentation with yeasts native to the vineyard itself, controlling the temperature to 30ºC, stirring and breaking the head every day.
· Maceration for at least 10 more days
· Aging for 7 months in barrels of fine American oak
· Before bottling, the wine is finned with egg whites and lightly filtered
· Visual stage
Well covered, cherry colour.

· Olfactory stage
Intense aroma, with well-balanced black fruit and oak.

· Tasting stage
Very tasty, with round tannins; spicy with a background of ripe fruit.
· Storage
5-6 years at the recommended temperature of 16º C.

· Serving
The best temperature for correct serving is between 16 and 18º C.

· Food pairing
The harmony is perfect for rich legume dishes, red meats/game, fowl, Serrano ham, choice sliced cured meat, cured cheese, blue cheese.
